Overview: How do you establish the direction of your organization? What is your organization’s mission? What are the best short, medium and long term strategies for achieving your goal? What types of professional services and support do you need to launch your organization? For existing organizations, how can you fine tune your direction and ensure that you are fully compliant with all state and federal fundraising regulations?
10:15 to 11:15 a.m. Panel 2-Creating Better Programs
Overview: Programs are the reason that your organization exists. How do you improve the quality of the programs? How do you get the right type of people involved so that you can execute your programs? How do you define the audience for your programs? What tools should you use to deliver your programs?
11:30 to 12:30 p.m. Panel 3-Measuring the Impact of Your Programs
Overview: You run successful programs. Or do you? How do you measure the true impact that your programs are having? How do you determine which programs are most effective? What tools do you need to properly measure and evaluate the effectiveness of your programs? Can you truly measure impact internally–or do you need to bring in outside experts?

2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Panel 4-Telling Your Story: How to Engage Your Donor Base
Overview: Every organization has a story. How well are you telling your story? Is your communication truly connecting with your donor base? Which mediums should you be using to maximize the impact? How can you create ongoing interest in your story instead of showing the same video at every event? Which stories are the most effective? Whose voice does your audience want to hear?
3:15 to 4:15 p.m. Panel 5-Fundraising: Events, Grants and Solicitations
Overview: Money is the fuel that drives any organization. How do you ensure that you are harnessing the resources that are available to support your cause? What are the best fundraising techniques for your brand? Should it be personal solicitations? Do you know how to apply for grants? What types of grants and grantmakers give you the best chance for success? How do you integrate event fundraising into your overall mix? Can your board raise enough money? Do you need to hire professional fundraisers?
While we will have time after each panel, this special opportunity will allow the audience to engage with all of the speakers, moderators and attendees. We will take questions over Twitter and via email. We will examine the biggest challenges you face in taking your non-profit to a higher level. We encourage you to take time to think about the issues that are most pressing for your organization and come prepared to discuss ideas and solutions.
