Trent Jackson, Senior Director of Development, University of Wisconsin

Trent is serving on Panel 5-Fundraising: Events, Grants and Solicitations

Trent is a senior director of development at the University of Wisconsin Foundation responsible for Chancellor Rebecca Blank’s Diversity & Inclusion initiative during the All Ways Forward $3.2 billion comprehensive campaign. Trent has more than 20 years of philanthropy and executive-level management experience at academic, athletic, and community-based organizations. He has been directly responsible for raising $53.2 million for non-profit organizations during his professional fundraising career. 

Trent is a former Badger basketball team two-time MVP and played professionally in the NBA, Europe, and Asia for nine years. He will be inducted into the UW Athletic Hall of Fame in September 2019. He earned his B.S. in Applied Economics and MBA from UW-Madison.

Roy has worked in the sports business world for over 20 years including serving as an instructor in Northwestern University's graduate Sports Management Program. Having served as a sports lawyer representing athletes, entrepreneurs and start-up businesses, Roy has extensive experience helping organizations improve their strategy, marketing, communications and leadership development.
