Sports Philanthropy Newsstand 6-6-2022

We head into pride month in June and many parts of the country are finally getting decent weather. June hosts not only the US Open Golf Tournament at The Country Club in Brookline, MA., but also countless other celebrity and charity golf events. Make sure to check out our event calendar for the latest schedule.

The NBA Finals head into a busy week and we have seen incredible performances. The NHL matchups are leading straight into the Stanley Cup Finals.

We are going to be in Atlanta next week for the NIL Summit and Black Sports Professionals Symposium. If you are going to be at attendance for either of those events, please let us know.

Have a great week!

Roy

The Kansas City Chapter Steering Committee hosted its first call on April 13th as it looks to commence programming during the summer and launch a kickoff event in conjunction with Sporting KC.

Sporty made its debut at the Women’s Final Four in Minneapolis. Amazing effort by the city to host the games before sellout crowds, the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Convention and the Fan Fest at the Minneapolis Convention Center.  The city did such a great job hosting that the Big Ten has decided to host future tournaments there.
