Legacy After the Locker Room Podcast: S4:EP16–Chris Draft, NFL, White Ribbon Project

Join us for S4:EP16 of the Legacy After the Locker Room Podcast as NFL Alumni Chris Draft joins host Kayla J Bradham to discuss football, the passing of his wife, and how that all led to The White Ribbon Project.

NFL Legend, Chris Draft, met his wife Keasha in 2006. They were married 5 years later, on November 27, 2011. Sadly, she died of lung cancer on December 27, 2011, even though she was a non-smoker. Today Chris is creating awareness about lung cancer as the Founder of The Chris Draft Family Foundation, Inc.

USA TODAY just released a short documentary about his recent work (Portrait of Lung Cancer) for AstraZeneca US Community Connections. Chris says, “What is my worth if I can’t use my skills and platform for good? As long as you have LUNGS, one can get LUNG Cancer!”

A two-time Second-team All-Pacific-10 Conference selection and Second-team All-Pac-10 honors, Chris graduated from Stanford and spent TWELVE years in the NFL with 667 tackles, 16 sacks, 7 forced fumbles, and 5 interceptions.
