Amobi Okugo is a determined and diligent professional who successfully balanced a soccer career while continuing to pursue education and entrepreneurial ventures. Recognized as 2021 Forbes 30 under 30 inductee for my achievements on and off the field. Independently started a company, A Frugal Athlete, that focuses on helping athletes make, manage, and multiply money through financial education and athlete empowerment. Additionally, started the Ok U Go foundation to help provide roadmaps to underserved youth in my community.
After my long extensive professional soccer playing career I have transitioned to my second game as an entrepreneur, creator, host, and consultant focused on the sports business, soccer, marketing, and tech sectors. My passion is being a facilitator for business development ideas and cultivating strategic partnerships to bring success and value to the people I work with.
I’m looking to connect with like minded people and opportunities that allow me to use my innovative strategy, business development, networking and marketing skills. Long term, my ultimate goal is to continue building my platform as a creator, host, and start my own management consulting firm with an emphasis on the sports business ecosystem to educate and guide the next generation of game changers.
