As the Country Opens Up
Looking around the country as we enter the last week of May, we are seeing a lot more activity. One of the biggest challenges facing the sports world over the next 90 days is WHEN to open and HOW to open. Questions still about the mechanisms for protecting athletes, coaches and others involved in the practices, games and events. There will be a lot of challenges as every organization tries to figure out the best way to return to action.
The issues arising from the return to play will amplify the need for support and funding in each of the three key initiatives that we have undertaken.
#SportsPhilanthropyNeverSleeps
As we head into the next stage of recovery, your support of our mission to build stronger, healthier and more inclusive communities through sports will be more important than ever. So many kids are at home with sports, without equipment and without the access to facilities. By looking at all of the ways you can support our initiatives, we are confident that you can find a way to contribute to our mission.
The easiest way you can do this is by becoming an Insider of the Sports Philanthropy Network or making a donation to support these specific initiatives.
JOIN THE SPORTS PHILANTHROPY NETWORK OR DONATE NOW
In addition to our fundraising efforts, we encourage you to join our weekly Webinars. Our topics have generated a lot of interest and we continue to explore additional ways to support our Network during this crisis. We hope this forum will create a supportive environment for everyone in our Network and beyond.
New Schedule:
As a result of many states opening up some of their operations as well as the fact that many of us are “Zoomed-out” or turning into “Zoombies“, we have adjusted our schedule going forward. We are glad that we were able to serve so many organizations as we went through the initial stages of the COVID-19 crisis.
