Sports Philanthropy WORLD Gaining Rapid Support

In its inaugural year, the Sports Philanthropy World Congress is attracting a lot of attention on both a national and international basis.

Scheduled for August 9, 2019 in Chicago, the Sports Philanthropy World Congress promises to be a fantastic event for all of those involved in the sports philanthropy community to engage with each other, share ideas and best practices, learn from experts in every aspect of the industry and develop relationships with other organizations that have the capacity to help them grow.

The panels include:

  • 9:15 to 10:15 a.m.             Panel 1—Charting Your Course:  Setting Your Organization’s Agenda
  • 10:15 to 11:15 a.m.          Panel 2—Creating Better Programs
  • 11:30 to 12:30 p.m.          Panel 3—Measuring the Impact of Your Programs
  • 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.               Panel 4—Telling Your Story: How to Engage Your Donor Base
  • 3:15 to 4:15 p.m.               Panel 5—Fundraising: Events, Grants, Solicitations

The Sports Philanthropy World Congress will be introduced by Roy Kessel, who has long had the passion for helping organizations use sports for social good and social change.  “We are excited to launch the Sports Philanthropy World Congress,” said Kessel, “and we believe that this unique event will grow in scale over the next decade.  We intend to make education and training the focus of the World Congress as we desire to give every organization a voice in this space.”

The Sports Philanthropy World Congress is scheduled to be held at Whirlyball Chicago, located at 1825 W. Webster Avenue, Chicago, IL 60614.

One of the important elements which is being incorporated into the Sports Philanthropy World Congress is plenty of time for both open and structured networking.  The event will conclude on Friday evening with a chance for everyone to participate in Whirlyball in order to enjoy an opportunity to meet, compete and eat.
