SPN Launches Webinar Series Aimed at Development During Coronavirus crisis

In light of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus), the Sports Philanthropy Network is launching a series of Town Hall Meetings and Webinars aimed at helping organizations with critical functions:

  • Communicating with stakeholders
  • Engaging their constituents with activities when in-person sports are not possible
  • Creative tools and technologies to continue development efforts
  • Training programs and techniques for Board of Directors and Professional Staff

“We are excited to launch these Sports Philanthropy Webinars during this time of crisis,” said Roy Kessel, Founder of the Sports Philanthropy Network. “We recognize that organizations and staff are struggling with how to engage the youth in their programs, how to effectively raise money and how to communicate with their stakeholders. We believe that these Sports Philanthropy Webinars will be useful tools in order to allow the organizations to utilize this period of time when in-person meetings and events are not allowed for other productive purposes.”

“We have the ability to assist the organizations with running training programs for their Board of Directors as well as a variety of Professional Development and Leadership Development programs for their staff,” said Kessel.
