Ryan Sahlin was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at the age of one. Despite his diagnosis, he grew up loving sports and playing baseball and lacrosse. He also earned his black belt in Kenpo Karate and his Eagle Scout. 

After graduating from Rutgers University, with a Masters in Global Sports Business, 25 -year-old  Sahlin founded Greater Than The Game, a 501 (c) (3) whose mission is to uplift people through sport and encourage them to become their personal best.  Outside of the organization, Sahlin enjoys Crossfit, hockey, and hiking.

Through the exposure and passion for sports Ryan is making a change in so many lives.

Greater Than The Game is a non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging all people to be stronger and to strive harder than they ever thought possible! Its mission is to inspire people through encouragement and sports. Ryan highlights athletes across the spectrum of sports. They produce digital content that makes a positive impact of sports on families, individuals, and society at large. Greater Than The Game informs personal stories of athletes that achieve over adversity.

They encourage others by working hard The organization is conducted by three principles: Be aspirational, be authentic, and to be positive.
