New Jersey Devils Organizational Spotlight

MISSION: The New Jersey Devils strive to unite all by celebrating the sport of hockey to make a difference in the local community. It is our goal to create and maintain community programs that encourage participation in hockey, educate today’s youth and support those in need.

PROGRAMS:

GIVE 82: Prudential Center, the New Jersey Devils and United Airlines

are proud partners of our organizations “Give 82” community service

platform. With community service being a core value of their

respective organizations, their “Give 82” platform encourages

employees to commit 82 hours of community service each year.

HOCKEY FIGHTS CANCER: HFC unites the hockey community in

support of cancer patients & their families. Together, the hockey

community looks to inspire hope and courage for those who are

living with, going through & moving past cancer.

CHARITY DRIVES: Every season, the New Jersey Devils host a

variety of charity drives to assist organizations in the local

community with much-needed items. Annual drives include their

PSE&G Coat DriveGoya Food Drive and Toy Drive.

HOCKEY IS FOR EVERYONE: Hockey is for Everyone uses the

game of hockey – and the League’s global influence – to drive

positive social change and foster more inclusive communities.

The New Jersey Devils aim to support any teammate, coach or

fan who brings heart, energy and passion to the rink.

NHL GREEN: The New Jersey Devils are committed to protecting

the places we play hockey for future generations. Through the use

of innovative technologies we are working towards transforming their

business, and inspiring our communities and partners to lower

emissions, conserve water, reduce waste and more.

HOSPITAL VISITS: A tradition dating back to 1982, the

Annual New Jersey Devils Hospital Visits allows our players,

Coaches and staff to connect with local hospital patients to

bring a bit of excitement during their challenging times
