Mission Statement
The Washington Football Charitable Foundation is ever-present in the community, constantly working to achieve our mission to make a positive and measurable impact in the lives of children that need it most. Since 2000, The Washington Football Charitable Foundation has given back more than $29M to the community and currently provide support and services to more than 178,000 individuals (mostly children) annually, focusing on supporting education, children’s health and wellness and preparing them for their future.
Loads of Love
This program installs washers and dryers in schools that serve students who lack access to clean clothes. Studies have shown that offering laundry services in schools can help boost student’s attendance rates, class participation and their grades.
MY CAUSE MY CLEATS
As part of the NFL’s My Cause My Cleats campaign, more than 50 Washington Football Team players and coaches created custom cleats to raise awareness for initiatives and causes they are passionate about. Players will have the opportunity to wear the cleats during Week 13 when Washington takes on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Cleats will be unveiled throughout the week and fans can learn more about their passions beyond the game and the stories that inspired their cleat designs as well as how to bid on their cleats at www.WashingtonFootball/MyCauseMyCleats
