Background
Toronto FC is a member of the MLS Eastern Conference. The first Canada-based franchise in the league, it joined MLS in 2007 as an expansion team. Toronto FC is coached by Bob Bradley and operated by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, and the team plays matches at BMO Field.
Also known as “The Reds,” the club has won the Voyageurs Cup seven times and has made it to the MLS playoffs three times. It became the first Canadian club to win the MLS Cup in 2017 in its championship game against the Seattle Sounders.
Programs
Toronto FC Summer Camp – The team’s Soccer Development Staff leads a grassroots soccer camp, featuring appearances from players, coaches, and community figures. The camps are a week long for youth ages 7-14, and participants take part in training modules as well as fun camp games.
Player Requests – Toronto FC offers appearance requests, where they involve themselves or the team in community-based events that are associated with things like: community outreach initiatives, sport fundraisers, school fundraisers, charitable causes, and business initiatives.
