SUPER BOWL 56 RADIO ROW: Chris Draft

Join us on Radio Row as Sports Philanthropy Network President Roy Kessel and Vice President Kayla Bradham sit down with Chris Draft, Heidi Nafman-Onda, and Pierre Onda, Founders of The White Ribbon Project, to discuss the White Ribbon Project and raise lung cancer awareness.

During Super Bowl week, Kayla and Roy interviewed Chris Draft, Pierre Onda, and Heidi Nafman-Onda to discuss lung cancer.  Chris Draft is a former NFL Legend who played in the NFL for 12 seasons. He lost his wife to lung cancer only one year after they were married. Chris is using his platform to create hope and possibility for lung cancer survivors.  Chris shares his story about his wife’s diagnosis and battle with lung cancer. He also talks about the Chris Draft Family Foundation.

Heidi Nafman-Onda and Pierre Onda are founders of the White Ribbon Project as Heidi is a lung cancer survivor.  Heidi and her husband Pierre discuss the lack of knowledge and resources relating to lung cancer awareness. They explain why they started the White Ribbon Project and why it is so important. They also mention the factors that influence lung cancer such as smoking and radon exposure.

Heidi and Pierre are lung cancer awareness advocates who want to create more awareness about and the disease.  They encourage lung cancer survivors to speak up about the need for more research and awareness about lung cancer within the medical community.

They discuss the lack of knowledge primary care physicians have regarding lung cancer.  Pierre is a primary care physician and is an advocate for raising awareness within the medical community at large.

This interview is a great discussion of the White Ribbon Project and how we can be better advocates for lung cancer awareness.

Chris Draft and The White Ribbon Project join Roy Kessel and Kayla Bradham on Radio Row.
