She is joined by Tim Love, a renowned Texas chef and restaurant owner to discuss the Taste of the NFL event at this year’s Super bowl. Taste of the NFL is an annual culinary event featuring top chefs and NFL stars to help raise funds to fight food insecurity and feed our nation’s kids. GENYOUth is a long-time partner of the NFL whose End Student Hunger Fund has raised over 45 million dollars to help feed children across the country. Alexis and Tim discuss the Taste of the NFL event and how it brings together exceptional cuisine, prominent chefs and food influencers from around the country, NFL players, coaches, legends, all to support the fight against hunger.

Established in 1992, Taste of the NFL is the annual purpose-driven culinary experience at the Super Bowl, created to raise awareness and funds to support hunger and food insecurity. GENYOUth is proud to be partnering with the NFL to take this remarkable event to the next level to support the 1 in 4 children in the U.S. who are food insecure. We all need to do our part to provide vital resources to the most vulnerable kids in our communities and that’s what the Taste of the NFL is all about – a reminder that we cannot take one meal for granted!

Chef Tim Love is known as much for his vibrant personality as he is for his signature urban western cuisine, creating inspired and innovative dishes that have earned critical and popular acclaim. With restaurants spanning the nation from Seattle to Knoxville, Love’s roots remain in Texas, where he is chef and owner of beloved Texas restaurants Lonesome Dove Western Bistro, Woodshed Smokehouse, Queenie’s Steakhouse, Gemelle, Atico, and Love Shack, as well as the storied White Elephant Saloon.

Widely known as a de facto ambassador for Texas, Love is a national spokesperson for Hellmann’s Mayonnaise and Thomas’ English Muffins & Bagels. His keen business acumen landed him a role as host of CNBC’s show Restaurant Startup, where he and co-host Joe Bastianich vie against each other to invest their own money in restaurant concepts they believe will make them millions. A committed philanthropist, Love is devoted to several charities including Burgers 4 Babies, which he founded in 2010 benefitting the NICU Helping Hands organization.

Alexis Glick is an American television personality who was an anchor of Money for Breakfast and The Opening Bell on Fox Business Network, as well as the Vice President of Business News. She left the channel in December 2009. Glick has since founded the GENYOUth Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to nurturing child health and wellness through improved nutrition and physical activity.
