In this sixth episode of the podcast’s seventh season, Jo and Roy discuss why golf is such an important sport, her early experience on the cutting edge of computer technology, and why she has a personal interest in ensuring that adaptive golf tools are available to everyone who needs them at an affordable price.

Jo Boettcher

Jo A. Boettcher, the CEO of JTR Enterprises Inc., has been an avid golfer for six decades and formerly a collegiate golfer in the 1970’s  as well a golf instructor. Despite facing a health issue in February 2023 that prevented her from playing golf, Jo (a former researcher in the health and fitness arena with expertise in Sports Physiology) undertook her own research study to explore ways to overcome this obstacle and return to the golf course.

Helping Hands Golf Resources

Helping Hands Golf Resources was created by Jo Boettcher in 2023 after health issues took away her ability to play the sport she’s loved all of her life, golf. Utilizing all the research she could find, Jo was able to create a tool that allowed her to play golf despite her issues, creating an incredible passion for adaptive golf. Now, Helping Hands Golf Resources focuses on providing free information, resources and support to golfers facing temporary or permanent health issues or mobility limitations.
