Terrific turnout for our Chicago Chapter. Attendees graded books, packaged books and took a tour of the incredible facility that distributes 2.5 million books per year to Chicago area students.

- September 22 — The War Heroes on Water charity sportfishing tournament returns to Newport Beach, CA, supporting 125 combat-wounded veterans with a three-day event focused on healing and camaraderie.
- September 21 — Colorado Avalanche’s Devon Toews and NHLPA Goals & Dreams donate 25 sets of hockey equipment to United Heroes League, benefiting local military children in Colorado.
- September 21 — The Chautauqua Women’s Golf Association raised $4,052 for Creche Inc. of Jamestown during their annual Charity Day fundraiser.
- September 21 — The 2024 Travelers Championship in Cromwell, Conn., raised a record $3.2 million for 206 charities, bringing the total to over $31 million donated since 2007.
- September 20 — Kroenke Sports Charities to host 13th annual giveSPORTS Equipment Drive at Ball Arena, Denver, on Sept. 21, 2024, supporting underserved youth with sports equipment donations.
- September 20 — The Discovery Center Swing for Science golf fundraiser at Ruggles Golf Course, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, raised funds on September 20, 2024, supporting science education through a day of golf and networking.
- September 19 — Antero Resources donated $160,000 to local nonprofits, including D.A.R.E. and Hero’s Haven, from funds raised during the 2024 Antero Oil & Gas Dodgeball Tournament in Bridgeport, WV.
- September 19 — Southern Nevada Dutch Bros to host “Buck for Kids” Day on Sept. 20, donating $1 from every drink sold to support Special Olympics Nevada programs for children with intellectual disabilities.
- September 19 — The Bunker Bar & Grill in West Chicago hosts a Chicago Bears game day charity event on Sept. 22, 2024, supporting local DuPage and Kane County charities.
- September 19 — Oklahoma State and Southern Methodist will host a charity basketball scrimmage on Oct. 26 at Gallagher-Iba Arena to support the American Heart Association.
- September 19 — Purdue Fort Wayne hosts Notre Dame in a charity exhibition on Oct. 30 to benefit local youth organizations.
- September 19 — Jeffco Services will host the first Golf for Inclusion event on Oct. 5 at Steubenville Country Club to support individuals with developmental disabilities.
- September 18 — Arkansas will host Kansas for a charity exhibition game on Oct. 25 and play TCU in Fort Worth on Nov. 1, with proceeds supporting children’s hospitals.
- September 18 — The Cellcom Green Bay Marathon concluded after 25 years, raising nearly $2 million for local charities, with a final donation of $108,000 to two organizations on Sept. 18, 2024.
- September 17 — The Norton Healthcare Sports and Learning Center in west Louisville opened 12 new pickleball courts, promoting physical and mental health through the popular sport.
- September 17 — Ohio McDonald’s will donate 10% of sales from the McDonald’s app on September 26 to support local high school athletics across the state.

- September 17 — Notre Dame football players will wear custom cleats for the game against Miami Ohio, auctioning them off afterward to support South Bend area charities through the Cleats for a Cause initiative.
- September 16 — The Calgary Flames are repurposing items from the Gaudreau memorial to support local charities, including the Calgary Food Bank and Parachutes for Pets.
