Terrific turnout for our Chicago Chapter. Attendees graded books, packaged books and took a tour of the incredible facility that distributes 2.5 million books per year to Chicago area students.

- September 20 — The Discovery Center Swing for Science golf fundraiser at Ruggles Golf Course, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, raised funds on September 20, 2024, supporting science education through a day of golf and networking.
- September 19 — Antero Resources donated $160,000 to local nonprofits, including D.A.R.E. and Hero’s Haven, from funds raised during the 2024 Antero Oil & Gas Dodgeball Tournament in Bridgeport, WV.
- September 19 — Southern Nevada Dutch Bros to host “Buck for Kids” Day on Sept. 20, donating $1 from every drink sold to support Special Olympics Nevada programs for children with intellectual disabilities.
- September 19 — The Bunker Bar & Grill in West Chicago hosts a Chicago Bears game day charity event on Sept. 22, 2024, supporting local DuPage and Kane County charities.
- September 19 — Oklahoma State and Southern Methodist will host a charity basketball scrimmage on Oct. 26 at Gallagher-Iba Arena to support the American Heart Association.
