Spotlight intensifies
As the spotlight intensifies on all of the racial unrest, we are hopeful that more organizations will be accountable for the steps that they have promised to take. Words, though not necessarily easy, are much easier than actions. Our goal is to help shine the spotlight on the best actions and to encourage and support the organizations that are doing work to make meaningful change.
This week we are releasing our report which compiles all of the statements on statements teams and other groups have made for about their efforts to condemn racism and their actions to combat racism. It will be interesting to follow how many of them execute their actions.
Our Town Hall Meeting on Racism, Tolerance and Reform is going to be the launching pad of a task force that will work in this space to create meaningful and lasting changes in the policing system and beyond.
All donations between now and July 6, 2020 will be earmarked towards programs under our Diversity, Equality and Inclusion initiative. We encourage you to give generously to allow us to work to make meaningful change and to support the many organizations that are doing terrific work in this space.
