The NFL Draft took center stage on the Las Vegas strip. As usual, the NFL held a variety of community events but it also did an incredible job to highlight work of other organizations during the actual Draft. Las Vegas also hosted Tiger Jam, an NFLPA Pitch Competition and other celebrity and charity events during a busy weekend.
We hope to see you at the Aspen Institute’s Project Play Summit. If you are planning to attend, please let us know so that we can make time to get together.
Have a great week!

CHAPTER NEWS
The Chicago Chapter hosted a Happy Hour and sports bra drive in conjunction with the Sports Bra Project and drew an energetic crowd and a large donation of sports bras from the attendees. Shoeless Joe’s served as a great host venue to entertain the crowd.
The Kansas City Chapter Steering Committee hosted its first call on April 13th as it looks to commence programming during May and launch a kickoff event in conjunction with Sporting KC.
Sporty made its debut at the Women’s Final Four in Minneapolis. Amazing effort by the city to host the games before sellout crowds, the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Convention and the Fan Fest at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The city did such a great job hosting that the Big Ten has decided to host future tournaments there.
