Sports Philanthropy Newsletter, April 2020

As an organization, we have had a very exciting and busy month. You will see our two important announcements below that will dramatically change the way that we are able to operate and the initiatives that we will be able to undertake.

We have watched as the entire sports world has been in a constant state of flux. We are now heading into the second month of the COVID-19 crisis. We responded early to take the lead by launching the initiatives below.

Early on, we identified the challenges that so many organizations are facing. We made a decision to dedicate all of our time and resources to serving our Network. You will see below, we concentrated our efforts in three major areas (click on any of the initiatives below to be taken directly to that page).

TWO MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE SPORTS PHILANTHROPY NETWORK

We launched our Sports Philanthropy Draft Challenge to raise money for organizations struggling through the coronavirus battle. You can see the full details of this initiative in Press Release below as well as by clicking the contest graphic above to take you to our contest page.
We entered into a Fiscal Sponsorship Agreement with Players Philanthropy Fund out of Baltimore, which allows us to operate as a nonprofit but have the support of a strong organization with a long track record of accountability, transparency and success.
