In this week’s Sports Philanthropy Podcast, Evan Pearson, President of LEXON Pathways sits down with our host Roy Kessel, to discuss the best ways to engage athletes and ensure that they remain true to their philanthropic causes. Roy and Evan discuss some of the challenges that exist as an athlete tries to determine the best course for his/her needs.

Evan has been raising money for various charitable causes for over 20 years.  In his role with LEXON Pathways, Evan establishes and maintains charitable entities for professional athletes. This includes all aspects on operations, fundraising, and event management.

Evan earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, a master’s degree from Georgia State University, and a MBA from Kennesaw State University. Evan holds both a CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive) and CAP® (Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy) credential.

Roy Kessel is the Founder of the Sports Philanthropy Network. Roy has worked in the sports business world for over 20 years including serving as an instructor in Northwestern University's graduate Sports Management Program. Having served as a sports lawyer representing athletes, entrepreneurs and start-up businesses, Roy has extensive experience helping organizations improve their strategy, marketing, communications and leadership development.
