New York Jets Spotlight

The New York Jets take great pride in having a strong commitment to their community, and that is why the Jets invest in programs that make a difference in the lives of others. Funded by the New York Jets Foundation, the programs are focused on positively influencing the lives of young and women while also focusing on promoting social justice, preventing bullying, and unifying their community.

Programs Jets Play Football:

Since the Jets are committed to growing the game of football, they created an outreach program designed to provide opportunities for communities to play the game itself. The Jets annually host a 7 on 7 tournament with over 45 teams from everywhere in New York. They have contributed over $1 million in support to New York City high school football and each year the Jets provide more than 10,000 athletes to play flag football at no cost. In addition to this, the Jets donate 4,000 tickets to local youth football programs.

Jets Tackle Bullying:

This program tackles all forms of bullying by raising awareness, providing tools for educators, and preventing bullying for kids and teens. Beth page Federal Credit Union collaborated with STOMP Out Bullying to help the Jets host educator symposiums and conduct school visits.
