University of Nebraska Cornhuskers Organizational Spotlight

The University of Nebraska Cornhuskers represent the 22 intercollegiate athletics teams at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. They are members of the Big Ten Conference’s West Division. Football has been the most successful sport for Nebraska, winning 46 conference titles, 10 division titles and 9 national championships.

Nebraska Athletics also gives back to its surrounding communities in various ways with different programs and initiatives.

The GO BIG Campaign is a $165 million, 315,000 square foot North Expansion project that will create the future of Nebraska athletics. Through this project, the University will build many things including a new Football Performance Center that will include:

National Leadership Society -

Donors part of the National Leadership Society contribute the most to Nebraska Athletics to help its student athletes. Donors who commit to giving annually are rewarded with many benefits:

Bronze: $25,000 - $49,999

Bronze level donors who commit $25,000 to $49,999 annually receive:

Silver: $50,000 - $99,999

Silver level donors who commit $50,000 - $99,999 annually receive:

Gold: $100,000 or more annually -

Donors at gold level who give $100,000 or more annually receive:

Ruby: Lifetime Athletics Giving of $1 Million and Above:

Ruby - level donors commit the highest level of philanthropic giving to Nebraska Athletics at a lifetime giving of $1 Million and above receive:

The N Vest Club:

The N - Vest Club will give student athletes who meet academic benchmarks $5980 per year for their achievements. These student athletes will receive scholarships towards academic performance, graduation and retention.

The N - Club:

Established in 1890, the N - Club strives to provide opportunities to letterwinners from all sports to connect, engage and involve them through special events, reunions and other communications while supporting the academic, athletic and career success of current student athletes.
