Montreal Canadiens Spotlight

The Montreal Canadiens want to inspire the community and help those who need it most through health, lifestyle, education, and hockey development programs.

Programs

Annual Children’s Hospital Visits For 50 years, Canadiens players visit about 380 young patients at the CHU Sainte-Justine and the Montreal Children’s Hospital.
Canadiens@School- The free online program offers hockey-themed educational tools for both parents and teachers of first grade through secondary 3 students. These activities offer students the chance to learn interactively while being engaged.

Future Goals- A free digital STEM program that allows high school students the chance to gain and test knowledge of core STEM concepts with a hocky theme. There are twelve modules that include hockey examples using data analysis, geometry, life and physical science concepts.
Operation Santa Claus- The hockey staff, players, and wives respond to letters to Santa and buy gifts for local children in need. This program ensures more children are able to celebrate the holiday joyously when they otherwise may not have been able.
The Canadiens Food Drive- Fans are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items when they attend games with Youppi! and Canadiens Alumni participating. The donations are given to Moisson Montreal, Sun Youth and the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul
Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation- For the past 21 years, the foundation has monetarily supported hundreds of charitable endeavors for the benefit of underprivileged children.
