Milwaukee Brewers Spotlight

MISSION The Brewers Community Foundation harnesses the pride, passion, and commitment of Brewers fans, players and other supporters to positively impact the lives of children and their families in Greater Milwaukee and Wisconsin.

VISION To be thoughtful, dependable, philanthropic leaders actively engaged in providing financial support and leadership consistent with our mission.

AREA OF INTEREST Funding efforts shall strategically extend financial support to nonprofits that provide quality programming in the areas of health, education, recreation, and basic needs, with a particular focus on low-come and disadvantaged youth and their families.  

PROGRAMS AT GAMES

50/50 Raffle- Tickets are sold through the ballpark at every Brewers home game. The winning ticket is announced during the 6th inning at each game. The winner will get half of the proceeds from ticket sales and the other half goes to the Brewers Community Foundation.

Brewers Buddies Ticket Program- Ticket contributions from Major League Baseball, Brewers season ticket holders, sponsors, players, and the Brewers Community Foundation ownership group, make it possible to give complimentary game tickets to non-profit community groups.

Scholarship Programs- With the help of donations from Major League Baseball, Allen H. Selig, players, and coaches, the Milwaukee Brewers are able to hand out scholarships to future college students.

Scoreboard Recognition Program- Messages that are sold has raised money to support nonprofits that provide quality programming in the areas of health, education, recreation, and basic needs. The main focus is to help low-income and disadvantaged youth and their families.

PROGRAMS IN THE COMMUNITY

Student Achievers- Recognizes students grades 7-12 for their academic achievements and efforts throughout nearly 700 schools in Southeastern Wisconsin. The student is awarded a certificate and two complimentary Brewers game tickets.  

TeamSmile- Partnership with Delta Dental provides free dental care to the children of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee.

Drive for Charity- During May, July, August, and September, fans are invited to donate items or make a $10 contribution at home games to help nonprofit organizations in Greater Milwaukee. 

5K Run/Walk- Brewers Community Foundation puts on a run/walk to help Fisher House Wisconsin, an organization that provides a “home away from home” for military and veterans’ families to be close to their loved ones during hospitalization, illness, disease, or injury. Proceeds from the 5K go to Fisher House Wisconsin and Brewers Community Foundation.
