Legacy After The Locker Room Podcast: S2:EP2–Rick Curti, Charlotte Bats

Join us for S2:EP2 of the Legacy After the Locker Room Podcast as Rick Curti, CEO of the Charlotte Bats, sits down with our host Kayla Bradham to discuss how the Charlotte Bats are trying to bring an MLB expansion team to Charlotte, North Carolina.

Rick Curti is the C.E.O. and Founder of the Charlotte Bats. He has worked as a Media Director for Charlotte Thunder and Carolina Energy.

The Charlotte Bats have taken on the challenge of bringing a Major League Baseball team to Charlotte, North Carolina. The MLB hasn’t added an expansion team since 1998, the longest expansion drought since MLB expansion began in 1961. In 2018, MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred included Charlotte on a list of six cities that would be most likely for expansion.
