Legacy After The Locker Room Podcast: S2:EP1–Sean Gibson, Josh Gibson Foundation

Join us for S2:EP1 of the Legacy After the Locker Room Podcast as Sean Gibson, Executive Director of the Josh Gibson Foundation, sits down with our host Kayla Bradham to discuss the work of the Josh Gibson Foundation in light of the recent announcement to give major league status to seven Negro Leagues.

Sean Gibson is the great-grandson of baseball legend Josh Gibson and Executive Director of the Josh Gibson Foundation.

Josh Gibson was a professional baseball player for the Homestead Greys and Pittsburgh Crawfords. Despite being considered one of the best players of all time, he, like countless other African-American athletes, was never allowed to play in the Major Leagues. He was the second Negro League player to be inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. The Josh Gibson foundation was started by Josh’s family to remember his legacy and contribute to positive change in the Pittsburg community.
