FOUNDATION PROGRAMS
Hawks Heart is an art program includes creative exercises to help children design a personal logo that reflects how to see themselves and their future.
Summer Skate gives nonprofits the opportunity to have a free field trip to ice skate at Fifth Third Arena.
Family Skate aims to incorporate non-profits that serve families. Participating groups can attend a skate session without any cost.
SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Blackhawks Reading Program is designed to encourage students grades 2-6 to read in and out of the classroom. This program helps students get excited to read throughout the hockey season by rewarding them with great prices!
Building Champions fosters social and emotional learning through sports. The program aims to serve underprivileged and under resourced children in Chicago.
G.O.A.L emphasizes the importance of exercise and healthy living while providing elementary schools with the equipment to teach hockey in P.E.
Future Goals teaches important skills that help prepare them for success in life. Using the fast-paced, exciting game of hockey as a learning vehicle, the program helps students understand the real-world applications of science and math principles.
OTHER COMMUNITY PROGRAMS AND INITIATIVES
Blackhawks Service Crew is designed to encourage youth to take an active role in their community by volunteering and giving back. Five individual participants are selected each month to receive Blackhawks prices.
Chicago Gateway Green aims to educate Blackhawks’ fan base to be leaders in responsible environmental developments.
Advancing Racial Equity aims to highlight racial injustice including structural and systemic racism.
Hockey Fights Cancer is a joint initiative to raise money and awareness for hockey’s most important fight. In addition, the Chicago Blackhawks host an annual Hockey Fights Cancer game each October.
