CF Montreal Spotlight

Mission:

The Montreal Impact Foundation is committed to organizing and supporting a variety of activities to help improve the lives of underprivileged children and their families. The foundation helps provide sports facilities in underprivileged areas to promote physical activity and social inclusion within the community. Their main philosophies are that children are the main focal point of the foundation, the foundation is accessible and welcoming, and the events being organized must show creativity and originality.

Programs and Events:

Footgolf tournament: 

The foundation’s newest activity that includes playing in a Footgolf tournament with Montreal Impact players and staff. The money raised through this event is used to support underprivileged people and their families.

Centraide Cup: 

This event is an annual soccer tournament, organized by Centraide of Greater Montreal (one of their partners) and the foundation itself. All the donations go to develop or support effective programs intended to prevent school dropouts and/or improve the quality of life for vulnerable youth, families, and individuals.

“C’est Mieux En Bleu” Gala:

The gala is an opportunity to spend an evening with players and members of the Montreal Impact technical team in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere a few days prior to the start of the season.

50/50 Raffle:

During home games, tickets will be on sale to purchase and at the end of the game there is a ticket draw. The winner will receive 50% of the grand prize, while the other 50% is donated to the foundation and put back into the community.
