Community Outreach

Nike Game Growers- This initiative is an exclusive opportunity for 7th and 8th Grade girls aged 13+ to share their ideas on how to encourage more girls to play sports. Two girls are selected by each participating WNBA or NBA team as Game Growers Co-Captains to develop ideas that could grow sports participation for girls. Game Grower Teammates are 7th and 8th grade girls, who want to participate in exclusive Game Growers experiences that empower them to grow sport for girls in their communities.
Social Justice Initiative- The Atlanta Dream organization believes in equality, diversity and inclusion. Atlanta has a rich history as a central location in the Civil Rights Movement and social reform in our country. The organization looks to empower its coaches, players and front office to be a collective voice in the Atlanta community and beyond.
