2024: A Great Year for Sports Philanthropy Network

2024 has been a terrific year for Sports Philanthropy Network.

We had amazing activations and engagement at the Super Bowl in Las Vegas and by partnering with Leigh Steinberg for a Sports Philanthropy Pavilion for his Super Bowl party. If you would like to get involved for either of those opportunities this year, please let us know.

Kayla put together a fantastic presentation about our NIL4Good program to train the International Association of Communication in Sports at their Annual Conference.

The Big Ten Conference continues to be a great partner as we cover and highlight their community and philanthropic activations at media days, Conference Championship Football Games and conference basketball tournaments.

The National Football League grants terrific access through Radio Row at the Super Bowl, the Pro Bowl, NFL Honors, the NFL Combine, the NFL Owners Meetings and the NFL Draft. The NFL has incredible philanthropic initiatives and partnerships and we are thankful to be included.

SANIL and Jason Belzer have included us in the NIL Summit at the College Football Hall of Fame. We trained college athlete leaders on our NIL4Good program which teaches them how to effectively use their NIL rights to make a difference to the causes and communities in their lives.

MLB Players Trust has joined forces with us and we were excited to have them as part of Sports Philanthropy World and to be part of their upcoming Gala activities in Scottsdale in February.

We were invited to Europe to give a keynote speech on Corporate Social Responsibility in Bratislava, Slovakia. Bratislava is a beautiful city and home to a passionate group of sports business professionals seeking to make a greater impact on their community.

KPMG became an amazing host for our Sports Philanthropy World 2024 Conference. You can check out the lineup of sponsors, speakers and activities here! We are excited to be announcing dates for SPW2025 in January! Numerous alliances and partnerships have already been formed from SPW2024 and we already have speakers lining up for SPW2025! https://sportsphilanthropynetwork.org/sports…/

We are thankful to numerous, numerous other companies, individuals, athletes, teams, leagues and funding sources who have contributed to allow us to increase our impact every year! We love the coaches who put so much into their sports. We love the retired athletes who gave everything to their sport. And we love the current athletes who are throwing their entire life into their sport.

We are excited about new partnerships that will be announced in 2025 that will focus on:

**Scholarships for HBCU students to attend sports conferences.

**Increasing vaccination rates in underserved communities.

**Scholarships for sports philanthropy students to attend our Sports Philanthropy World Conference.

**More opportunities for student-athletes and other students to access our resilience training programs.

**New task forces that are ready to launch for disabilities, mental health, LGBTQIA+, financial literacy, STEM education, Literacy, Concussions, Wellness and more.

**Initiatives focused on reducing gun violence.

**Partnering with local communities hosting youth sports tournaments to create philanthropic education and activation on-site to foster the culture of philanthropy from an early age.

In 2024 we welcomed a great roster of VC Funds, Venture Philanthropy Funds, Family Offices, Team Foundations, Ownership Groups and Corporate Foundations to the table.

We are thankful for so many incredible organizations and allies we have not mentioned. Our growth is a function of their support and the work of our Chapter Directors, our Ambassadors, our sponsors, our speakers, our podcast guests and more. We thank each and every one of you!

We would love to have you as part of our Sports Philanthropy Network community. We hope that you will consider donating to support our efforts for 2025 and/or becoming one of the sponsors from our growing roster of programs.

We always have more room for great people and great ideas. If you would like to get involved, please reach out and let us know!

If you are going to be at any coaching conventions, sports business conferences, trade shows or major sporting events in the First Quarter of the year, please let us know so that we can make time to get together in person. We love the opportunity to spend time, in person, with the people who are changing lives and transforming communities!

Wishing you all a Happy, Healthy and Peaceful 2025.

Please remember to LIVE GENEROUSLY!

Thank you!

Roy and Kayla
